Christene graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1981 and obtained her CPA, CA designation in 1984.  Christene worked for both international and local firms before establishing Scrimgeour & Company in 1999.

Christene has a respected reputation within the municipal, non-profit and charitable fields for her knowledge and expertise.  Christene provides audit, accounting, consulting and tax services to these groups.  Christene has made presentations to numerous groups with these fields such as Ministry of Municipal Affairs and various charities.  Christene makes it a priority to attend regular professional development courses to maintain her knowledge in these fields. 

Christene serves on CPA Ontario's Practice Inspection Committee and was a founding member of CPA Ontario's Small Practice Advisory Committee.  Christene is the Treasurer and Board Member of Youth for Christ, London and a member of the Audit Committee of West Park Church.
